HACO funds the daily operations of the Notre-Dame du Perpétuel Secours School in the Bel-Air neighborhood of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, as well as special occasions throughout the year. Donations support the following activities:

  • Yearly salaries for 11 teachers, 3 staff members and 1 school director

  • Daily meals, often their only meal of the day

  • Books and school supplies for the students

  • Gifts, clothes and food for special occasions and ceremonies like Christmas, Easter, First Communion and graduation

  • Renovations and expansions of the school

In 2016, our school was facing a financial crisis, and was on the verge of closing its doors. We needed to raise $20,000 in three months to keep the school running. The Notre-Dame Club at the Dalton School raised over $30,000. See how they did it and thank you to everyone who donated:
